Here is a Conn 88HO for sale, Serial Number is 988XXX (maybe 2010’s?). Sporting a rose brass bell, this horn gets a lovely, warm tone. One characteristic about rose bells, they are responsive and you don’t have to work to hard to get your articulations out in the hall. The valve is in nice shape and the linkage is quiet. The slide is also in good shape, 8.5/10. This instrument isn’t a looker, but it’s solidly built and ready for the next player. A perfect horn for a high schooler or college student.
