Conn 70H Bass Trombone (1936)

$2,750.00
sold out

Pardon the drooling... If I didn't already have a great 70H, I would be keeping this.

I'm selling a Conn 70H Bass Trombone, serial number is 309XXX (1936). Conn single trigger bass trombones have something special about them. In Conn's prime, their instruments were made with detail and love. From what you can see via the pictures, this received much love. Sporting a silver plated, yellow bell with gold flush, this horn gets a lovely tone. Mixture of responsiveness and depth, this trombone works in all ranges and will be perfect for a section scaling down for lighter repertoire. The closed wrap valve works well and doesn't have any air leaks. The custom engraving is to die for, truly a beautiful instrument. Movement in the slide is good, 8/10.

For anyone needing a great horn for Schumann, Brahms, Mozart, etc., this is your horn. Or maybe you are a collector, here you go.

Asking $2750, free shipping in USA!
